Under this section there are many items about TV.

I started in the year 1992 with works for the news from PRO 7, a independent televisionstation. It was a very creativ time, we worked out each over the shoulder separatley and with love and passion. It was very stressy. Each day hurry up to eight a clock p.m., there the news started live. Sometimes some events happed shortly before and we had hardly to do to finish a good graphic for the background. Then quick run to the technic, change the Disc for the Regie, running the whole channel to the room wiht the techniccrew for the news, overcome any sens of anxiety, built up a stack and than listening to the briefing from the director – during that be aware what was going on at the screen, a direct transfer from the studio. One fault seen from over 2 Million people. But important was realy the mission: to put out creativity.

Pro7 News, 1992, Anchorwoman Christiane Gerboth, Graphics: Pierra Kayser, Art Director: Andrea Bednarz

Once – we recorded a moderation for the latenight news – the moderator misspeaks constantly (he had a bad day) and the director was pleased to loop a scene with blood, coming out  from one leg from a man injured from struggels of war. The heart pumped the blood  out in the rhythms from the mans pulsrate like a fontain and no help was arround. Again and again turned the maz (Tape) to this point. I sufferd. This scene – now I can say this – was a landmark in my life. I can´t resist, I felt hurt because of the hurts from this poor man and I asked myself if it is really necessary to use creativity and the beauty from graphics for promotion in cruelty and violence.

Than I changed to the development department: it made me curious to work there, bigger projects with more time to work it out. Thoughts about concepts and promotion – an old passion of mine. Also deadlines, but this was a stimulation for my essence. Realy – the whole life ends with a deadline -so let us hurry up, let us do wonderful things!
